Easter in TAS in 2026

Good Friday falls on Friday 3 April; Easter Monday falls on Monday 6 April. For someone who normally works Monday to Friday and has Good Friday and Easter Monday off, the Easter period creates a four-day break. Check your normal work pattern before treating weekend public holidays as extra leave.

ANZAC Day in 2026

ANZAC Day: Saturday 25 April (actual). Use the observances shown in this jurisdiction’s calendar. Weekend arrangements vary between states and territories, so a neighbouring state’s Monday observance should not be assumed to apply here.

Friday and Monday holiday opportunities

These full-day dates can create three-day weekends for a standard Monday-to-Friday work pattern. Easter is shown separately above. The dates are confirmed in the official year-specific calendar.
